When Should A Person Be Referred To The Counseling Center? The Counseling Center assists people who have completed inpatient rehab programs and have progressed to a point where they may live at home but require continued support for sobriety and mental health. For you to refer a person to our facility, they must be: A minimum of 14 years old Finished with detox for drugs and/or alcohol Medically stable Need professional treatment for sustaining sobriety or dealing with mental health illness Devoted to attend mental health counseling to address addiction and mental disorders
Will Referrals Be Kept In Confidence?Of course! We keep all patient communications and documentation confidential. We only discuss their recovery with them, you as their medical provider, and their approved relatives.
What Can I Expect After Submitting A Referral? If you contact The Counseling Center, a member of our team will correspond to you immediately, no matter the hour or day. We’ll discuss if our services fit the individual’s current needs or if they should find a different kind of care for their present point of substance use or mental health rehab. If we determine The Counseling Center at Monmouth Junction is the best choice for them, we’ll schedule a psychological evaluation and talk about their insurance coverage and potential payment plans. After this is done, we’ll discuss the right course of action for them and get them enrolled in one of our customizable outpatient programs.
